What do we need?

To start growing sprouts at home, you don’t need any special equipment. All you need are:

  • seeds, preferably those intended for sprouting,
  • a jar
  • gauze.

How to sow sprouts?

Pour a teaspoon of sprout seeds into a jar and pour the jar halfway with water. The seeds should soak all night or at least 6 hours. After this time cover the jar with gauze and tie with a rubber band. The water after the night pour through the gauze and rinse the seeds. From now on, do not pour water over the grains anymore, but rinse them twice a day. Place the jar in the semi shade, at an angle and with the gauze facing down, so that the excess water can drip freely, which prevents mold. After about 3 to 5 days, the sprouts should be ready to eat
