Linseed varnish is a preparation intended for impregnation of wood and wood-like products, as well as other porous surfaces, for example, mineral plaster. It is produced from natural oily substances derived from flax. In its composition it also contains admixtures of saccharides, i.e. substances that allow the varnish to dry faster on the surface of impregnated wood. Due to the fact that varnish is one of the agents obtained from natural resources, we are sure that its use is ecological and environmentally friendly. Even if it gets into the soil, it will not damage it.
Linseed varnish penetrates deep into the structure of the tree and thus protects it. After impregnation with a natural preparation, the raw material becomes moistened, is protected against mold, algae, moss and insects, and is less susceptible to moisture.

A second disadvantage of natural impregnation can be the rather long time it takes to penetrate the wood and dry.
