Garden irrigation system – how to choose the best one?

With all the tools ready, you should consider where to get the water for your garden irrigation system. There are two possibilities

The first is convenient but expensive. Reaching for the water supply makes you pay much more for water each month. Watering the garden from the tap can lead to the fact that the water bill in the summer months will be more than 250-300 PLN higher.

In addition, a problem arises if the water supplier does not agree to connect to the waterworks. In this case it will be necessary to install another water meter and the water used for watering the garden should be added to the sewage. This will make the bills even higher. The best and cheapest way is to create your own water tank. A well or a small pond will work perfectly.

Automatic irrigation in the garden – where will it reach?

The next step is to determine in which area you want to operate the irrigation system in the garden. This is necessary to proceed to the next work. It is advisable to create a plan on which we mark where the pipes and sprinklers will be mounted. This allows you to determine where the water will reach. It is worth taking into account that you can change the location of the sprinklers, so that at any time you have the opportunity to slightly change the range of water.

The garden irrigation pump – what is worth knowing?

One of the most important elements that is necessary to create a system for irrigating the garden is the pump. Which one to choose depends mainly on where the water will be drawn from. If the water for watering the garden will be drawn from a well, it is best to match the type and size of pump to the depth of water that is usually found in the well.

It is best to opt for a high quality pump that will maintain the correct pressure. In this way, the amount of water that is irrigated garden will not vary. However, it is worth knowing that such an investment is quite large. Good quality pumps can cost more than 500 gold.
